Royal Harbour and Ramsgate town (CT11)

The core round. Royal Harbour is ringed by tall Georgian and Regency terraces, narrow frontages, in places a shared close rather than a private drive, cable runs and external fixings need a lighter touch here than on a modern estate. The marina itself is its own category of job, boat owners often want a camera covering a berth or a pontoon gate, which is a different survey to a standard house.

• Royal Harbour and the Marina, Georgian and Regency terraces, boat and pontoon security jobs, heaviest seasonal footfall on the round.
• West Cliff and East Cliff, seafront terraces either side of the harbour, mixed older and newer housing.
• Dumpton and Nethercourt, residential streets on the northern edge of town, mostly houses.

Pegwell and Cliffsend (CT11–12)

The coastal and marshland edge south of the harbour, sheltered from nothing. Salt air off Pegwell Bay shortens the life of budget camera housings fast here, and the nature reserve's paths run close to some garden boundaries, which matters for doorbell and camera placement as much as the hardware.

• Pegwell, coastal village next to the bay and nature reserve, higher weather exposure on hardware.
• Cliffsend, village between Pegwell and Manston, mixed older and newer housing.

St Lawrence, Newington and Manston (CT11–12)

Inland from the harbour, sheltered from the direct coastal weather but with the same long-garden and outbuilding pattern that makes Wi-Fi reach worth checking properly rather than assuming.

• St Lawrence, established residential streets on the western edge of town, mixed housing stock.
• Newington, village between Ramsgate and Margate, mostly houses with generous gardens.
• Manston, village around the former airport site, mixed rural and residential properties.

Our standard round runs from Ramsgate out to Pegwell, Cliffsend, St Lawrence, Newington and Manston, comfortably covering CT11 and CT12. Anything further out (towards Margate or Sandwich) we will take on request, travel time will show in the quote. If you are inside the area above, we are your local installer.
